Sarah Singleton is the author of dark fantasy novel The Crow Maiden, and young adult novels Century, Heretic and Sacrifice, published by Simon & Schuster UK. Her new novel Amethyst Children is due in 2008.
Century won the 2005 Booktrust Teen Award, the Dracula Society's Children of the Night Award for best gothic novel of 2005, was highly commended for the Branford Boase Award and shortlisted for the Birmingham Book Award.
